'My name is not asylum seeker!' will be an exhibition hosted at Halifax Central Library between 3rd May and 13 June 2024, with the opening event taking place from 16:00 - 17:15 on Friday 3rd May.

The exhibition is about the everyday lives and experiences of people who have sought asylum in the UK and is based on collaborative research between university-based researchers and people with lived experience. The research focuses on Halifax and Doncaster and was conducted in collaboration with St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax and Doncaster Conversation Club. Holly Lynch MP will be the main speaker.
