Christmas Market Weekend

Get festive and ready for Christmas with our hugely popular Christmas Market on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December. This year kindly sponsored by Justmylook.

Saturday 30 November

• Town centre shops, restaurants and bars open with festive fun throughout the day and into the evening
• Street Market with over 80 stalls open between 10am and 4pm
• Christmas Tree Switch-On from 4pm with Santa making his way around the town to reach Thornton Square for the switch-on
• Meet Santa at the Overgate Furniture Shop on Park Street between 10am and 3pm – cost is £4 per child (fundraising for Overgate) with no pre-booking required, just turn up on the day.
• Marshalls Amusement Funfair on Bradford Road
• Festive Donkey Rides for children to enjoy
• Music & Entertainment from the Arriva Christmas Bus throughout the day in Thornton Square
• Have a selfie with Elsa & Anna from Frozen plus our naughty elves Jolly & Jingle who will be throughout the town centre

Sunday 1 December

• Town centre shops, restaurants and bars open with festive fun throughout the day and into the evening
• Street Market with over 80 stalls open between 10am and 4pm
