ART IN THE PARK @ HOLYWELL GREEN

Join the Friends of Shaw Park and Holywell Green for an afternoon of creativity and inspiration at Shaw Park! Whether you're an experienced artist or simply enjoy trying something new, this event is open to children, adults, and families who want to explore their artistic side in a natural setting.

What’s Happening?

• Crafting: Try out craft projects using materials provided or found in the park. Fun for all ages! Make your very own wand, crown, or a woodland mobile!

• Drawing & Painting: Discover the beauty of the park by creating your own artwork. Seasoned artists will find plenty of inspiration in the beautiful surroundings, while beginners can take the opportunity to learn some basic techniques from a local artist. Children can also enjoy simple and fun painting activities inspired by the scenery, including making a pebble ladybird or bumble bee.
• Photography: See the park through the lens and snap some memorable shots.

This event is free, and there’s no need to book — just come along and join the fun!

We have a face-painting artist (fee payable) and lovely home-made cakes, biscuits and drinks on sale.
