Northern Rascals are a multi-disciplinary performance company based in Yorkshire. Driven by social conscience, they use theatre and contemporary dance to lead audiences to original narratives rooted in the current socio-political climate.

Nationally recognised, the company is renowned for their raw yet poetic interpretation of today’s world and the people that inhabit it and celebrated for their dedication to using Northern voices to spearhead that poeticism.

Reviving Her

Reviving Her aims for it’s audiences and participants to gain a better understanding of what it means to be a young woman in today’s society, and to reconnect them with their authentic self found buried under the weight of patriarchal and capitalist structures. The free workshops for young women, aged 14-25, include weekly meets, in term time after school, working together towards a series of performances in July for CultureDale 2024. This
will be a brilliant opportunity to work with a professional dance company, meet others, develop performance and creative skills, and gain a performance opportunity. Based in Hebden Bridge Town Hall.

Intensive

These intensive workshops are for dancers to attend in Leeds at Northern School of
Contemporary Dance.
