Since 2013, Mr Wilson's have been producing artistically-rigorous, live performances. We work with programmers and communities to dream up joyous, place-making celebrations.

Luckily for us, Opal’s Comet will be sailing down the Rochdale Canal and the Calder & Hebble Navigation as part of our CultureDale 2024.
‍

Expect a vivid, animated artwork transported by a transient community on a waterways pilgrimage. Wow that was a mouthful wasn’t it? Well this will make your jaw drop. As the crew navigate real-world challenges of boat life, their vessel functions as both exhibition space and stage, soundtracked by an incredible live band.

Each song explores a different season of grief and can be listened to, learnt or used as a conversation catalyst. You’ll be able to follow along with the incredible journey via social media and podcasts.
‍

This stunning event offers audiences and participants the opportunity to slow down and take stock, to celebrate shared values; pay homage to those we’ve lost and discuss how you might navigate a new future.
