The Calder Navigation podcast is hosted by Curious Motion's Samantha McCormick, listen along as she explores life through the stories of the people of Calderdale.

Through genuine and relaxed conversations, Calder Navigation takes a look at the complexities of being human by sharing the experiences of local people. From poetry to music, each episode offers a unique and creative perspective, fostering pride, unity, and compassion within our community.

The first series of the podcast was released over the course of 2023, with ten episodes highlighting the fascinating stories of local people, from musicians to community activists, dancers to therapists and many more interesting Calderdale residents!

Now, the second series is in full swing, with five episodes already released and a sixth out today:

Clare has been featured in numerous anthologies, has four collections published by Bloodaxe, has written and presented for BBC Radio 3 and 4, and they also lead workshops for Wordsworth Grassmere, the Royal Literary Fund, and the Arvon Foundation.

Beyond poetry, Clare is dedicated to using writing for social change, leading projects across the UK and engaging communities through creative initiatives.
