The outstanding literature and tragically short lives of the Brontë sisters have made them an iconic part of the culture of West Yorkshire. To accompany Bankfield Museum’s Wild Words poetry exhibition, this event brings together some of the leading local poets for recitations of their works inspired by the sisters.
The event is curated by Ian Humphreys, Poet in Residence at the Bronte Parsonage Museum and Editor of “No Net Ensnares Me”, an anthology of poetry inspired by the Brontës and the wild.
