CULTUREDALE
United by culture. Defined by community.
Calderdale’s Year of Culture may have ended, but the legacy of CultureDale continues as a platform for championing our borough’s creative expression, promoting collaborations across art, music, heritage, design, and most importantly – our communities.
CultureDale is your open invitation to connect, create and celebrate what makes our community special. From local festivals and street art to workshops to food pop-ups, we bring people together through shared experiences that reflect who we are and where we come from.
No egos. No fluff. Just a proper welcoming space for everyone to feel seen, heard and proud of the culture we build – together.
We want to keep the connections we’ve built over the past year going strong. That’s why this website will stay active as a resource for Calderdale’s cultural, heritage, and sports sectors to drive collaboration and community forward.
Want to promote an activity on our site and social media? You can.
Just visit our new event promotion page.
Need volunteers for an upcoming event? No problem. See our volunteer guidance.
From a community noticeboard, opportunities, funding lists, and blog recaps of all our fantastic Year of Culture projects, the CultureDale website is still brimming with inspiration and creativity.
Keep an eye out for more changes as they happen: including policy support for local organisations, sports club directories, and a cultural map to weave new connections through our cultural tapestry.
